Some time ago, I read about Playboy’s plans to rank the Top 23 Air Jordans. Obviously, I was looking forward to it and the pics are, uhm, quite nice, but as a sneakerhead I would’ve liked the J’s on the Playmates’ feet or somewhere “in the picture”. The way they did it now, it could have also been someone at home behind his Photoshop putting a picture of an Air Jordan and a Playmate together. Or do you think they really used some big ass J’s in size 256 for this photo shoot?? Me don’t think so…
Only pic where it goes along pretty well in my opinion is that one for the Jordan VII, because the Playmate seems to have the laces in her hands.

Hey today I decided to write up a blogpost about my newest toy camera. I’m a big fan of photography and especially the low-fi / toy cameras are quite interesting.
I know that those cameras are not always the best choice to get “the best picture” but they are simply more fun
and when I’m doing photography as a hobby I might aswell have fun with it! right? ;D
Today I decided to take the Digital Harinezumi 2+++ out and take some shots and a little video of us rolling through the hood in a Benz LOL ;-)

For this shot and some parts of the video I used a little jelly fisheye lense that I picked up on eBay for a dollar, it just gives it a little different look lol.

A few days ago – on Tuesday to be exact – I was at the Aloe Blacc concert at mousonturm here in Frankfurt. The place was really packed and people were going crazy. By the way, also peep this dope shirt by AZITA!!!!
I also met two former b-ball teammates. One of them is aware of RUN FFM, while the other one was not. So he was going like “Yo Schulz, wuddup with your lifestyle, man?!? See you running around town with Americans and stuff!” The last time I had seen him was last year, when we were actually running around town with DJ Neil Armstrong and since the mood was alreadyyy at an unbelievable high, I said “Oh, you mean Jay-Z‘s DJ, right???” which only added to his freaked-out-ness. So he asked, how that went down and I just pulled out a RUN FFM sticker. – “OK, cool. So… how much do you get paid as radio host???” LMFAO…
That’s because many people only see and/or speak out the FM at the end. I didn’t have an answer for him nor do I have any right now, but one person, who should know is Nardwuar The Human Serviette, because he has his own radio show. But since he’s the fucking greatest interviewer of all time, he should be thrown all money at.
Why he really got money thrown at, is told by Nardwuar in this video of his TEDx presentation, that @chrishimself84 posted this video recently via his twitter. It’s just like his interviews: VEEEERY DIFFERENT. He has a unique style, but please check it out yourself. He tells how he was able to get an interview with some people, but the bottom line is: because he asked!!!
That’s also a great way to end your presentation, right?!? Might try that at university next time LOL.
I don’t remember how we stumpled upon him, but it has to be it an interview with some rapper. Obviously he has also interviewed many politicians, which is even doper, if you think about it. You can check out all vids on his YouTube Channel.

We always been Adam Tensta fans since we got to know his music through THE HUNDREDS blog, but since running into him in Frankfurt last year at a gas station, we are also absolute fans of him as a person.
So I was really stoked to see this little series by NIKE Sportswear Sweden, in which he meets up with Jonas Jerebko, the first Swedish player in the NBA. Making it to the NBA alone is incredible, but imagine to the first one of your country, it must be over the top!
In the 1st episode Adam flies to Kinna, Jonas’ hometown, is shown around by Jonas’ dad & checks out some pictures of the career of Sweden’s first NBA player to see how he slowly grew up into an NBA player.
Now, in Episode 2 Adam made his way to Detroit, where Jonas is playing with the Pistons. They are talking about the adjustment Jonas had to made, his first season, his injury, performing in front of audiences & crazy schedules.
In the 3rd episode Adam meets up with Juan Atkins, who was one of the people to help lay the foundations in the 1980s for Detroit Techno as it is known today. They are sharing their experiences on what good record feels like, but also discussing how the music business has changed the way you have to get yourself out there as an artist in this day & age with the digital revolution taking over.
In Episode 4 Adam & Jonas meet up in Stockholm to talk about their begginings, their struggles and also their goals.
The highligh of this series was the American Made event, that was basically a basketball tournament with an ensuing party. Dope!!!
But… was this really the footage of the 3 point contest?!??? And their Destroyer Jackets are fucking überdope!!! I couldn’t stop staring at those…!
It would also defintely be nice to see this kind of cool & interesting stuff happen in Germany, too.
As a little bonus you might like this video of Adam performing “They Wanna Know” in front of the last pieces of the Berlin Wall.

Here’s another example of why this whole RUN FFM project is one of the best things to happen to my life. We’ve met so many cool & amazing people since we started this and especially after we also released the shirts. With Joe from Sorrow Crew it is no different. He was one of the very first to get his hand on our shirt & was rocking it ever since.
He and his crew are also hosting a party this Friday called ‘HATERS MAKE ME LAUGH‘. I’ll post more information on that later this week, but first I wanted to give everybody the chance to have enough time for practicing your b-boying skills!!! Hehehe…
Nah, don’t worry. You don’t really have to be b-boying on Friday. It’s all about partying, dancing, enjoying good music & being around good people.
But anywayz, Joe turned into Mr. ip Hop Clown himself and did these little videos for AOK, a German health insurance fund, on how to b-boy. And he did so in the RUN FFM Hoodie, that is now even featured on the front page of their magazine. :) Woooooow.

OK, so I’m doing me right now (I guess that’s the appropriate saying these days), because my tests at university are coming up next week, but judging from some tweets and also this post by the homie Neil Armstrong announcing some festivities, it is NBA All Star Weekend in L.A., right???
Well, I don’t get excited for the game anymore as I used to, but there is always still the dunk contest. And with Blake Griffin in it (just check this new vid of him! Ouch!!!) I’m pretty excited about that. But whatever he does in this contest, his in-game dunks are still the shit to me, because he’s doing all this incredible stuff in an actual GAME!!!!
Speaking of dunk contests: While some mascots like RUN FFM, some others just like to dunk like Mr. Boom Tho in the Korean dunk contest.
Boom Tho is basically a movement, that is mostly represented by Rod Benson, a long time, great and very creative blogger, who happens to play basketball professionally. If you are into the behind-the-scenes basketball & overall funny things, I highly recommend to check his blog.

Also speaking of DJ Neil Armstrong, some weeks ago I clicked through his YouTube channel and found these videos of him DJing at the Rookie Photoshoot the NBA does in NYC before each season. OK, you won’t see him DJing in those videos, but you can see, how to future NBA players do at the decks as he is giving them some lessons.
To Neil & everyone out in L.A. a great All Start Weekend and of course also to those, that are losing sleep while watching it in front of the TV. :)

Remember, when we were in Düsseldorf for the first Party&Bullshit Party?? Where DJ Rafik & DJ Neil Armstrong were spinnin’ and Chris made a video??? The guys from GOOQX also made a cool video capturing the whole day including some parts of the conversation between Rafik & Neil.
But that’s not even the only reason to post it, no!!! Me and the RUN FFM shirt also have two cameo appearances in it!!! :)
And since we are only a few views from one thousand views away, I’ll post @chrishimself84′s video as well. ;-)
