This recently released tiny book called  “The Otaku Encyclopedia” by Patrick W. Galbraith is probably the best english source for anyone trying to find out more about Otaku culture. Its small but has 248 pages full of japanese pop culture knowledge, so if you dont know what “Otaku” means you just go to the letter O and there you go “a nerd, geek or fanboy…”, its a must get for anyone who is interested in japanese pop culture!

A while ago I posted the teaser for the latest collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami called “Superflat First Love”.

Now heres finally the full short film.

Takashi Murakami is working together with Louis Vuitton again on some brand new projects and has released a short teaser for the new animation called “Superflat First Love“.

Due to this event honeyee posted a little feature (in japanese) about this collaboration where you can also see some more images.

As  a little extra heres an older animation done by Takashi Murakami for Louis Vuitton few years back called “Superflat Monogram”.

You can say that his design for LV is easily the most recognizable design for LV bags ever.
