Hey everyone,
today is the 1st anniversary of Julie’s Barber Shop, so you are all invited to drop by for some surprises today.
Happy B-Day from us, Julie. See you later.

To finally put an end on the Berlin posts I’m gonna show you, what I picked up during my stay there and we’ll move on with some more fun in the next few days, aight? :)
I really didn’t want to buy sneakers this time, but I didn’t know that the Air Jordan IX were 50% off at NIKETOWN, so I just had to.
Notice the “athletisch” on there :) Does anybody know what these other languages are??
There’s also something German on the right shoe: “anmutig”.
I also only noticed this glitter stuff, when I opened them at home. Funny. It somehow reminds me of the floor in the first modern busses we got in Frankfurt back in the 90s, because I was so amazed by it back then as a little kid.
Then, I also got me a shirt at the Civilist store by P.A.M., which is an Australian brand that I didn’t know of before, but I immediately fell for this design.
The backside.
At Firmament I discovered this Stüssy beanie, that perfectly goes along with the warm-up suit of my basketball team. I also got me some matching socks in other stores, but I will save them for our last game this year and rock them in Kronberg on Dec, 19th.
Gloves. This was a huge success, because last winter I didn’t have any gloves anymore. Don’t know, where they vanished, but I’m good for this year. And they were quiet helpful alreadyyy for the first snowball fights.
More shoes?? Yes, but little ones that I found at OVERKILL. This are the Tiffany Dunks and some Air Jordan I’s.
Here they are together with their big brother.
If you are in Berlin, I definitely recommend to check out the area around Torstraße. You will find SOTO, Firmament, Civilist, No.74, WOOD WOOD there among others. They even have this little cards to help you get around. OVERKILL was really some kind of overkill, because they had some dope stuff on display, so I most definitely recommend to go there, too. It’s in Kreuzberg.
Until next time, Berlin.

OK, so on Tuesday we went to check out some other stores. This time near Kudamm and in Kreuzberg. First stop was at the CLVII Store.
First thing to pop into your eyes are the subway maps of Berlin & Paris on their walls.
Second thing were those crazy adidas x Jeremy Scott sneakers once again.
CLVII Store, Meinekestraße 5, 10719 Berlin – www.clvii-berlin.com
open Mon – Sat 11:00-20:00
solebox is located not far away and that store is well known in Germany – also because the owner Hikmet is an internationally known sneaker head.
Besides dope sneakers you’ll find some BBC & Ice Cream shirts…
… or solebox toothbrushs. :)
solebox, Nürnbergerstrasse 16, 10789 Berlin, Germany – www.solebox.com
NIKETOWN is also right around the corner and I just couldn’t say no to some new Jordans for 80€.
NIKETOWN, Tauentzienstraße 7, 10789 Berlin, Germany – www.nike.de
A short subway ride got me to OVERKILL located in Kreuzberg.
As soon as I saw this doorknob, I knew that was my kind of store.
And hands down, it was the store I really liked the most here in Berlin.
Check out that Storm Trooper with the beanie LOL.
They even had a NIKE Hyperdunk Marty McFly sneaker on display.
More awesomeness follows, when you walk upstairs…
.. with these old adidas kicks…
… and all of these things: the boom boxes, the giant PUMA sneaker, those Darth Vader & Storm Trooper figures, …
I had to get me two pairs of those little sneakers, the Jordan I & the Tiffany Dunks.
OVERKILL, Köpenicker Str. 195 a, 10997 Berlin, Germany – www.overkillshop.com
open Mon – Sat 11:00-20:00
Another sticker sighting.
I then ended the day with shooting some hoops, so a big thank you to the BERLIN BASKETS and especially Tobi, Marco & Holger.
And the only thing blogworthy from yesterday (Wednesday), but it absolutely is, was the dinner: Lecker Hähnchen @ Henne in Kreuzberg. Make sure to make your reservations in advance.
Henne, Alt Berliner Wirtshaus, Leuschnerdamm 25, 10999 Berlin, Germany – www.henne-berlin.de
Today, we are off to the opening of the Alastair Philip Wiper exhibition @ SOTO & the YMA show at Friedrichstadtpalast.

Tachchen.
So I arrived in Berlin after having no sleep the night before, because we had to celebrate our first win of the season, and went with Simon, who now lives in Berlin, diiiiiirectly on the Touristenverarsche-Tour and to the Kurt Krömer Benefizgala in the evening.
On Monday, we made our way downtown again, but this time to check out some stores.
We got off at Alexanderplatz and there were some cool streetart pieces.
First stop was the WOOD WOOD store.
As you can see, you can get lots of different styles & items in there, while wood is also a large part of the store.
I really liked that scarf :)
WOOD WOOD, Rochstraße 4, 10178 Berlin, Germany – woodwood.de
open Mon – Sat 12:00-20:00
Down the street, we spotted the BBB Headquaters right next to the adidas Originals store. I’m actually also thinking about going to the next BBB in January. We’ll see…
We also went into the store…
… and I immediately got me a new hoodie. :)
NOOOT!!! I didn’t buy it, but Jeremy Scott is really going all out…! Do you like the look…??
adidas Originals, Münzstr. 13 -15, 10178 Berlin, Germany – www.adidas.de
Check out the sneaker wall at the KICKZ Store.
KICKZ, Münzstraße 20, 10178 Berlin, Germany – www.kickz.com
Next stop was STAB, where you have a good sneaker-to-clothing ratio in my eyes.
We loved this piece of art here. Also check out those little Jeremy Scott adidas sneaker for kids. :)
STAB, Gipsstraße 23, 10119 Berlin, Germany – www.stickabush.com
Mon – Fri 12:00-20:00 & Sat 11:00-19:00
Then, I was finally able to go to SOTO after I got me their SOpreme shirt earlier this year. By the way, you can really tell, when you are getting closer to the store. :)
That’s the front. Unfortunately, it was already dark.
The atmosphere in the store was cool and very laid-back, so you can feel really comfortable there.
We’ll go back there on Thursday to check out the opening of the Alastair Philip Wiper exhibition.
SOTO, Torstraße 72, 10119 Berlin, Germany – blog.sotostore.com
open Mon – Fri 12:00-20:00 & Sat 11:00-20:00
Right next door is No.74. The carry exclusive adidas items, but unfortunately I was not allowed to take any pics.
No.74, Torstraße 74, 10119 Berlin, Germany – www.no74-berlin.com
open Mon – Sat 12:00-20:00
After that it was time to eat and we found something dope on Torstraße: Shawarma, Hummus & Haloumi…!
Two corners away you’ll find the Firmament store in their new location. They got really exclusive stuff by OriginaFake, Head Porter Plus, Acronym, Visvim and so on.
In the entrance area they are showcasing the new Nike x Undercover Gyakusou International Running Association collection.
You can also get some Japanese magazines there, while I got myself a new Stüssy beanie. And no, they don’t make ‘Gas-/Wasserinstallationen’, if some krayzie person on the street should tell you that LOL.
Simon also found this book called ‘Take Ivy’ that contains photographs of men and their clothes shot on the Ivy campuses. It was originally published in Japan in 1965 and started the “Ivy Style” fashion among students in Tokyo. And as Simon told me not much has changed on the campuses fashionwise in all those years. And if somebody should know about that, it’s him, but I won’t drop the H-bomb now. :)
Firmament, Linienstrasse 40, 10119 Berlin, Germany – www.am-firmament.com
open Mon – Sat 12:00-20:00
Last visit was at the Civilist store.
They also carry a wide range of different brands and I also found a shirt by Australian brand PAM that I had to get.
Civilist, Brunnenstraße 13, 10119 Berlin, Germany – www.civilistberlin.com
open Mon – Sat 12:00-20:00
If you happen to be in Berlin, I can only advice you to check out these stores, also because in that area you’ll find some cool other things while you are walking around.
Anywayz, I’m still here for a while, so more love from Berlin soon, when I show you what we are doing today.
Andi / @IAMGANDINO
Market41 is the name of a pop up store located in our beautiful hometown of Frankfurt (I just had to squeeze that in right now) and is run by these two wonderful people you see on the pic above: Lea & Yves.
Not only are they cool, but the styles they carry in Market41 are, too! Above you see some 5Preview shits, below you can see different styles by Sixpack, Red Collar Project and Crooks & Castles.
Also ladies can get themselves some nice dresses…
… plus accessories, while men can grab a pair of comfortable Baqua shoes as well.
Some more stuff for the ladies.
And here are the new Sixpack styles they just got today. By the way, check back from time to time, because you’ll always find something new at Market41.
As I barely can withstand nice things, that have an A written on them, I recently got myself this Sixpack shirt called “Parallel Strokes” by artist PMKFA – plus some shorts for my summer vacation, but these will remain a secret until then.
Saving the best for last: Bazooka Joe chewing gum 4TW!!!!!!!
All of that only here until mid-September:
Market 41, Große Bockenheimer Straße 41 a.k.a. Fressgass’ 41, Frankfurt, Germany – www.market41.de
open Mon – Sat 11:00-19:00
So stop by as long as they are still around.
