Ich weiß ja nicht, wie es bei euch aussieht, aber wir drücken auf jeden Fall BATALLA die Daumen beim großen Funkin’ Stylez Showdown dieses Wochenende in Düsseldorf!!!

Nachdem er schon im Oktober in Frankfurt mit dem RUN FFM Hoodie aufgetreten (siehe 1. Video) und konsequenterweise auch als Sieger hervorgegangen ist (Glückwunsch nochmals!!!), tritt er nun mit seinem personalisierten Hoodie an…!!!

Auch dieses Video musste ich mir ca. 20 x anschauen. Wenn ihr mich also am Wochenende irgendwo in nem Club sehen solltet, dann seid auf das Ergebnis gespannt. :)

Occupy Wall Street x JuntosWorldwide x RUN FFM.

Vor circa einem Monat begann eine kleine Gruppe von ein paar Hundert Menschen auf dem New Yorker Liberty Plaza mit ihren Occupy Wall Street Protesten, die ihren bisherigen Höhepunkt letztes Wochenende fanden, als auf dem ganzen Globus Tausende von Menschen auf die Straßen gegangen sind – so natürlich auch und gerade bei uns in Frankfurt -, um ihrer Wut auf das aktuelle Finanzsystem und die dadurch entstehenden Ungerechtigkeiten Ausdruck zu verleihen. Korrigiert mich, wenn ich falsch liege, aber das ist wohl erstmalig, dass Proteste dieses große weltweite Ausmaß erreicht haben! Sogar unter Prominenten und Wirtschaftswissenschaftlern – darunter auch ein Nobelpreisträger – haben sich schon Sympathisanten gefunden, zu denen man auch den siebtreichsten Menschen der Erde zählen kann.

Und wie immer, wenn etwas Weltbewegendes passiert, ist RUN FFM mittendrin dabei: Rodney, den Chris in Tokio kennen gelernt hat und mit dem wir auch hier in Frankfurt schon um die Häuser gezogen sind, hat Anfang Oktober für sein Travelblog JuntosWorldwide schon die Anfänge auf dem Liberty Plaza dokumentiert, noch bevor die New Yorker Polizei teilweise drastisch gegen die Demonstranten vorgegangen ist, was der Bewegung dann spätestens die Aufmerksamkeit aller Median und weltweite Bekanntheit eingebracht hat.

BOMBER & bunnypop @ Museumsuferfest.

Allright, so here we go. Today, I got something spec…. Oh, wir bloggen ja jetzt auf deutsch ;-) Sorry, ich vergaß. Wird am Anfang doch wohl etwas ungewohnt sein, aber so könne mer aach wenigstens ma bissi hessisch babbeln!

Wo wir gerade beim Thema wären… Nicht nur in Hessen eine Graffiti-Legende, sondern auch darüber hinaus weit bekannt….??? Das ist BOMBER. Der Name ist Programm und zusammen mit unserem guten Kumpel Flo von bunnypop gibt es dieses Jahr auch wieder einen Stand auf dem Museumsuferfest, der eurer Fantasie freien Lauf lässt. So könnt ihr euch alles von ihm mit Airbrush verschönern lassen, und zusätzlich gibt es auch Shirts vor Ort, die er ebenfalls individuell gestaltet.

Letztes Jahr habe ich mir dort auch diese coole RUNFFM-Leinwand von ihm machen lassen. Eine einmalige Gelegenheit!!!

Ein echter Bombsky!!!!!!! Den Stand findet ihr auf der Sachsenhäuser Seite am Eisernen Steg direkt neben dem iGude/Bembel-Stand. Am besten ihr kommt so zwischen 11:00 und 23:00 vorbei, sonst ist der Stand nämlich geschlossen!

RUN FFM All Stars: Donation for Japan.

Here’s finally the update on our charity shirt release we did to donate for the Japanese Red Cross recently with the RUN FFM All Star Shirts designed by Myk31. In case you don’t remember how they look like, here are some pics of the shirt! Thanks for the pics, guys.

There are still very, very few of those left (please inquire via e-mail: andi@runffm.com). Japan still has a lot of work to do in order to recover from the tsunami even three months after as you can see in the pics here and here, so every help is still being appreciated. And if anyone can get trough this, it’s the Japanese!!!

With the help of all of you, we were able to donate

560 EUR / 770 USD / 65660 YEN

to the Japanese Red Cross! (We also upgraded the amount with some of the Old School shirt’s benefits.)

You can also just donate directly to the Japanese Red Cross via PayPal. (That’s way more easier than those foreign bank transfers and that’s why we also made the donation through PayPal!)

Here’s once again the Chris Mako (@chris_mako) produced song ‘Pray’ with EGO (@egotokyo) dedicated to Japan and all the people who pray for Japan!

You guys rock! YOU ARE REAL ALL STARS!!! Thanks for your help.

Back when we dropped our first shirts, we created this FB album showing people wearing our shirt and/or hoodie all over thw world, but today another category has to be created… Something like ‘videos, in which people show off their crazy dance moves while wearing RUN FFM stuff’.

Because that’s just what Nazret of onelovefam does.

… for a great year 2011…! I wanted to do a full year review with video and so on, but at the end of the day I hadn’t had the time (sorry), but anywayz… we wanna thank everyone who supported us throughout the year and will hopefully continue to do so in the future, so THANK YOU – and yeah, that’s exctly you, if you are a Facebook member ;-)

To finish off the year I’m gonna run some of the recent pics that were sent to us of people rocking the RUN FFM shirt…!

Ladies first! This is the beautiful mrswood of mrandmrswood rocking our shirt. And yeah, she really likes construction sites and road works. ;-)

This was a krayzie honour as DJ Neil Armstrong was doing his thing while wearing our shirt, when he been to Frankfurt recently.

That’s such a dope pic!!! It’s Joe from Frankfurt/Rhein-Main based Sorrow Crew.

Our shirt is also perfect for the 5pm tea time as shown be my (now unfortunately) ex-teammate Andi (We’ll miss ya… Pause…)…

If you are a @chrishimself84 YouTube channel subscriber, I’m sure Gauweed‘s face looks familiar to you. :)

And last but not least the Witters, who I also know from when we were kids, after they run this year’s Frankfurt marathon. Congrats.

Sven in JOURNAL FRANKFURT.

Wow, check that out. My man Sven is repping RUN FFM in the current JOURNAL FRANKFURT issue (dropped today) as well as he repped his (neighbour)hood Bonames as ‘Stadtteilbotschafter‘. It’s a project all over Frankfurt, so people can realize their own little projects for people in their respective district. He and his brother Martin (who is also rocking RUN FFM stuff by the way) were able to organize their own bball tournament that way to get teenagers interested in our sport.

I was also astonished to see this picture of our mayor Petra Roth as ‘DJane Petra‘ at the ‘Frankfurt legt auf‘ event last week. For that picture alone, she got my vote next time. :)

YOSOY brings out DJ Craze to Frankfurt.

This last night was an amazing one once again as YOSOY & fenchurch brought out DJ Craze to Frankfurt to rock the club Walden together with DJ Passion, Jackmode of The Goooniez & YOSOY’s 1st lady C-Arrow. As always the case, good music & good people made up for a lot of fun. To get an impression you should check @chrishimself84′s video right here.

If you are interested in some live audio click here and/or here. Unfortunately the sound quality is not the best as it is only taken from the DSLR cam Chris used for the video. But maybe it will give you an idea of Craze’s skills on the 1′s & 2′s.

Literally only seconds before I headed out of the door, I thought to myself that I should take my FUJI Instax cam with me and obviously it turned out to be a good idea as I was able to snap some nice photos. It’s also always amazing how people react when they actually see the picture coming out of the camera. :)

C-Arrow in NYC.

Just recently Caro, who we met back at the Market 41 Flutschfinger party for the first time, spent her holidays in New York City and judging by the pics she sent us, she spent most of the time attaching RUN FFM stickers all over NYC. :)

Since we really like that, I didn’t wanna keep those beatiful pictures away from y’all, so here we go. :)

She even got other people to join the street team. :D

So if you are in NYC, keep your eyes open. Some goes for Tokyo, London, Berlin, Frankfurt of course and I’m sure also some other places, I can’t even think of right now. As usual, pics are always welcome.
