This last night was an amazing one once again as YOSOY & fenchurch brought out DJ Craze to Frankfurt to rock the club Walden together with DJ Passion, Jackmode of The Goooniez & YOSOY’s 1st lady C-Arrow. As always the case, good music & good people made up for a lot of fun. To get an impression you should check @chrishimself84′s video right here.
If you are interested in some live audio click here and/or here. Unfortunately the sound quality is not the best as it is only taken from the DSLR cam Chris used for the video. But maybe it will give you an idea of Craze’s skills on the 1′s & 2′s.
Literally only seconds before I headed out of the door, I thought to myself that I should take my FUJI Instax cam with me and obviously it turned out to be a good idea as I was able to snap some nice photos. It’s also always amazing how people react when they actually see the picture coming out of the camera. :)

Big thx to YOSOY & especially Yves for everything.
The video and the pictures don’t tell the whole story of course, so you better come out next time. :)

I wanted to try out the Ricoh GRDII with some snapmode settings and some monochrome settings aswell and just fired away as I made my way through the train and subway stations.
This is just another one of my photowalk blogposts sometimes I find interesting words to put under the photos but mostly its just the photos that speak and its either pretty random or follows a theme.
Stefan trying out some settings with his Canon G11.
The whole train station was full of these messages.

Hey I thought I would keep my blogposts updated and make a short “goodbye summer” entry.
The last few days have been a bit busy for me, quite the unusual
but it was my birthday on the 21st and I also had work the last few days still I hope you were able to enjoy the last few sunny days this summer since today marks
the last day.
I took the chance to go outside to take some streetsnaps but I ended up enjoying the weather more instead of actually taking alot of pictures.
I guess the inspiration wasnt there that day haha ;).
Well bye bye summer welcome autumn its actually my favorite season and no not for “EMO” reasons haha I just like the slightly cold but sunny days.
peace

With the weather being quite nice right now, I decided to go to the river Main, that flows through Frankfurt (therefore: FrankFurt am Main => FFM and so on…). While most of the people hang out at the river in the city, it is also really beautiful out here in Höchst, where I currently live. So don’t tell me I didn’t tell you!!! You got no more excuses. :)
But the real beautiful thing in my eyes are the shirt and the sweater by WOOD WOOD x ellesse, don’t you agree??? I coped them at Market41 last week. Limited to 1000 pieces each. And needless to say that I need to buy nearly everything with an A on it.
This is my favorite spot in Höchst!! I spent every day there last summer. They are open until Oct 3rd this year and will open again next year in April or something:
Alte Schiffsmeldestelle – Batterie, Frankfurt-Höchst – www.schiffsmeldestelle.eu
And yeah, had to get the “regular” WOOD WOOD shirt as well.
In front of our château.
Holla at me, if you happen to be around Höchst :)

This is another one of my vacation posts. The last few days I was mostly occupied with basketball practice, our RUN FFM shirts & also our new twitter account @RUNFFM. Make sure to follow us there and you’ll receive also more content than our post updates.
Allright, this is a short one, but one day we went to Marbella to check out the spot of the rich and the beautiful. In the city center there were some expensive stores in the narrow alleys, but the rich & beautiful people were missing.
So, if you wanna discover a historic city center all by yourself, go to Marbella on Sundays during siesta.
I thought this Marriott hotel was cute.
A few kilometers outside of Marbella we found Puerto Banús and that’s where the action is going down and we saw some rich & so called beatiful people! It is a marina and offers all the shops you thought of having in this location. But I found some fake LV bags even in one of the stores, so fake LV is really all over.
If only it was a real yacht to have some amazing parties on it. :)
That’s me in front of Puerto Banús.
If you are interested, you can check also the posts about Gibraltar & the first one about Málaga/Butibamba and all the pics in my flickr set. My next post will be about a bullfight & the Feria, a big festival in Málaga.
Andi / @IAMGANDINO
When it turned out that we were going to Málaga in Spain, the second thing that came to my mind – after bullfighting – was Gibraltar, not really knowing what to expect exactly to be honest. But it was a super interesting trip. Not only has the Rock of Gibraltar an interesting past as a strategically important location, this place is also not the usual today, because it is still somehow British territory. We were in the queue of cars into Gibraltar for one hour, even though they didn’t really look at the passports and only checked that the number of passports corresponded to the number of people in the car.
I also read about Spain and Gibraltar getting closer to each other in recent years after the border was even closed from 1969 until 1985, but there are still some funny things going on: Last year, Spanish coast guards were going after a boat of some drug dealers and eventually arrested them, but had to entered the port of Gibraltar in order to get them – only to be arrested themselves by the Police of Gibraltar. LMFAO!!
The first thing that you have to go across when entering Gibraltar is the runway of the Gibraltar airport. Yes, the runway itself.
Had to take a pic of me. Where else can you WALK over a runway that is in regular operation?!?
First, we ended up at the Europe Point – more by chance, but it was a good way to start off, because I wanted to go to Gibraltar mostly because you can SEE Africa from that spot. On that day I only could see the top of a mountain in Africa and you can also see it on the picture – a little bit left of the ship.
OMG is that photo lopsided!!! But if Chicago and Wellington are the Windy Cities, this spot has to be the Windy Coast.
I’d really like to know how it is when there is actually a storm going on in the area.
After that, we went up the Upper Rock to check out the nice view of the Bay of Gibraltar and all the big ass containerships. In person it is really impressive.
On the following pic you’ll see that African mountain again in the horizon, plus some of the abandoned military facilities, that are now populated by Barbary Macaques, the only wild monkeys found in Europe.

Our final stop was the city, where you can shop for a variety of tax free goods. But advice from me: know the prices at home!!! Not everything seemed to be cheaper.
Don’t know. Had to laugh out loud, when I saw that outfit.
And I’ve also seen that shirt design somewhere… somewhere before!!! Fucking biters! :)
I also bought a hat there, since I was looking for a cool black hat all the time. And I’ll make sure to keep that bad boy away from fire. Thanks for the advice. :) Maybe we should add that as well on the tag of our next shirts LOL.
RUN FFM Sticker, Main Street, Gibraltar.
HELLO KITTY & BOB ESPONJA!!! Obviously a poster in the town of La Línea de la Concepción, the border town on the Spanish side.
And here is one final look at the Rock of Gibraltar.
Next up this week are posts on Marbella & Málaga respectively. You can find all the pics in my flickr set and the first post on Málaga/Butibamba here.

… and now I’m back. It was great to just chill & relax and having weather, food and some smack about other people as nearly the only topic of conversation for a little over a week. And now I’m hungry for some new exicting stuff to happen. But let my first hit you with some random thoughts about my vacation near Málaga, Spain:
First off, the pics of the view from my room (Muchas Graçias to Daniel!!!).
I’m already apologizing, if I should keep it up to put ‘Buti’ in front of other words, because the neighborhood of our hotel was called Butbamba and it was so much fun to me to play with it. My three favorite creations: Butimama, Butiplaya, Buticar. It was really everywhere.
I also noticed some weird store names. Third place goes out to SUPER ALI. Second place is BABCHIC. And the winner is EROSKI!!! Wonder, what all the broskis are buying in that kind of supermarket.
And now my Instax pics!! Some you may expect from a summer holiday – others maybe not.
The first thing I saw at the hotel was this! These bad boy cats are everywhere right now.
This was on a wall at a store right around the corner.
In front of the Plaza de Toros in Málaga.
I liked that, because you can insert what you want.
There was a campfire every evening at the seafront.
This was some cool streetart in Fuengirola, the next bigger “city” or whatever.
I took this in Gibraltar, while having a great sandwich!! To me it also looks a little bit like the photo is painted.
I used to go for a run every other day and I always passed that backboard. But I didn’t notice it until the last time. NEW BOOM ACTION!
This right here was the reason for this vacation. I just wanted to go to the beach. I wouldn’t have cared, if that beach would have been in Greenland. Even better it was BUTIPLAYA!
There is also one pigeon on the pic, if you look closely, but there were a whole lot more!!!
It doesn’t look like it on the Instax pic, but the water was very clear!!!
I’m happy to be here again, especially after a super turbulent approach for landing!! I will have three more posts in the next few days of our trips to Marbella, Gibraltar & Málaga (including bullfight). But if you are curious enough, you can check out the pics on my flickr alreadyyy.
Andi / @IAMGANDINO
P.S.: Also worth noting is my bus ride from the aiport to home, where I was – again – all by myself & special shout outs to the bus driver, who dropped me off in front of my front door, on his way to the bus depot :)
I had to do some stuff in Friedberg today nothing special but since I want to keep these photowalk blogs up and going I took a few snaps from today.
This is the train station in Friedberg, I like how it looks.
For such a small city like Friedberg their train station has quite alot of tracks.
Inside the train station we decided to check out the magazine stands and browsed a bit through the manga section, yes it became quite standard/mainstream in Germany so that almost every
magazine / newspaper shop has mangas now.
This one right here is like a free preview copy for you to grab, its like a taste test for the newest mangas released. I also like the dinosaur character “Gon” that some of you guys might remember
from Tekken 3 ;).
A recommendation from a friend of mine who knows the Anime “Highschool of the Dead”.
Zelda Manga??
World of Warcraft Manga/Comic ?!?!?!??! Milking the cashcow a little more now huh?
RUNFFM is your personal LOVE BLOG!
I thought this book looked interesting since its about japanese popculture a topic that I am into alot, there is alot of stuff in this book that I remember from my last few trips to Tokyo and some
who have been there might recognize alot of it too.
Tokyo Clash on Amazon.de for 14,95 Euro
Passmo or Suica card do you still have yours from your Japan trip? I still carry mine around every day lol I left it in my wallet it also still works after I have been using it every year when I am in Tokyo.
A motorcycle designed like a toilet or like a bullet train? Or the toilet designed like a bullet train? huh?
Some more regular home appliances that look “extremely futuristic”.
Everyone who has been in Tokyo remembers the toilets and those implemented bathroom sinks on top of the toilets, always thought that was a pretty neat idea but theres no place to put some soap next to it.
I think the left looks like a “Donki” or “Don Quixote/Don Quijote” its a multi level department kind of store with almost everything you need or dont need in your daily life in Tokyo, make sure to visit one of those when you are in Tokyo you will recognize them by a big sign with a blue penguin on top in a weird costume lol. Heres also a pretty cool flickr group dedicated just to “Donki”.
There are still some old style cinemas in Friedberg, with all those multiplexes dominating the cinema scene its kinda nice to see one of those still up and running.
Btw. I head that new movie by M. Night Shyamalan sucks (like his last few movies too? whats wrong thought he made good movies once)
I have this tradition that everytime I have to go to Friedberg I drive by the local Burger King on the way back lol this time I was joined by Stefan for some good “health food”.
And thats the end of todays photoblog I’ll keep you updated also make check out our T-Shirts we will also put up the white colorway online soon.

Mike (@mikemiguel69) a day one supporter of RUNFFM.COM recently bought an old Polaroid camera for only 1 Euro at a fleamarket here in Frankfurt and decided to try out the new Impossible Project PX film.
He decided to record a little vlog for RUNFFM.COM showing you how the new film works and checking if the Polaroid camera is still working.

Go ahead check out the video and make sure to subscribe to my channel http://www.youtube.com/chrishimself84 so you can stay up to date with my current work.

Last Thursday, I came across the WORLD PRESS PHOTO 10 Exhibition at Frankfurt’s Main Railway Station and was surprised to see something like this at this location. But it makes perfectly sense. Most of the people there are in a hurry (like I am also 90% of the time there), but many people actually took the time to have a look at the photographs, as this exhibition makes you realize, that there are much more bigger problems than missing the next train or most of the other problems we have in our day-to-day life.
As you can guess, the majority of the photographs display violence, poverty, riots, dead bodies, suffering, war, cruelty, inhumanity – I guess, you get the point – but also sports is a part of the exhibition.
I was really glad, that we took the time out to walk through the exhibition. I just checked and unfortunately TODAY is the last day of the exhibition in Frankfurt and it will move on (next stops on Germany: Cologne & Stuttgart – exhibition calender), but if you want to, you can have a look at all the photographs online as well.
I will post some photos here, but it’s not for people of nervous disposition obviously.
Sorry to take the role of a preacher right now, but if you are healthy, have something to eat & a place you can call home in a safe environment along with good people around you, you are relly leading a good life, my friends.
