RUN FFM All Star Shirts by myk31 benefiting Japanese Red Cross.

We are very proud to unveil our very limited RUN FFM All Star Shirts, that were designed by @myk31 alreadyyy a few months ago. The design is inspired by Japanese Pop Culture as most of his amazing stuff is. He already did music videos, lots of video animations – even for MAESTROKNOWS & itsbongoboy and dope graphics, so you definitely have to check it all out on his – you guessed it – incredible site myk31.com.

We were going to drop those shirts anywayz as they were planned to be released for another special RUN FFM milestone. It just so happened, that these Japanese inspired shirts were printed this week, so it was a no-brainer to drop them now, because that way we are able to do our little part in helping Japanese people after the disaster, that hit them so hard last week. How?? We decided to donate all profits from those shirts directly to the Japanese Red Cross.

These shirts are very limited. You have the choice of 4 colours (black, white, grey, navy), but we only made a total of 31 shirts, that will sell for 31€ per piece (in conformity with Myk’s choice of the Ukrainian Devil’s Dozen as “his” number :D). The screen print is on Continental Earth Positive shirts, so they were manufactured solely using sustainable energy generated from wind and solar power and have an organic & very comfortable feel to them. You can read more about the shirts on the Continental EP site.

Please inquire for your preferred color and size combination via e-mail: andi@runffm.com. We are sorry, that we cannot do it over the “regular” web shop, because due to the very limited quantities there are several color/size combinations, that only exist once. First come, first served.

You can pay via bank transfer or cash. We ask you to please do so within 5 working days and please add 1,45€ for shipping to Germany (pick-up also possible of course).

As mentioned above, we hope to do our little part in helping Japanese people, that we otherwise would not be able to accomplish.

Thanks to Myk for this amazing design & him being all for the idea of donating all profits to Japanese Red Cross. Thanks to our screen printer to make this shirt possible in this small quantity. Thanks to all the supporters of RUN FFM (We are sure you’ll like this shirt). And of course to everyone, who is helping in any way possible for Japan to get back on its feet again.

By the way, on Mar, 25th all haircuts at Julie‘s Barber Shop will also be donated for Japan, so call 069 – 37304274 now to make your appointment. You should also check this round-up on Hypebeast and on WHATZOOEVER!.

Let’s pray for Japan!
気をつけて!

Ein Herz für Blogs.

The third installment of Ein ♥ für Blogs was initiated out by a German blog last week. It’s basically about suggesting blogs, that not everybody might know about, but still be worth checking out.

4661377185 cd9366543d b Ein Herz für Blogs.

Originally, this was meant to be for blogs written in German, but why not give out some love, as we always do, but this time to other blogs in particular. So, let’s start locally with two German blogs, that we recommend to our German-speaking readers:

  • Sneakerb0b blogs from Cologne and as his name indicates, he is know for exactly that: sneakers. But he has a lot more to offer and I’m sure, you’ll find something on his blog, that you are interested in, too.
  • MrPander is also a blog to discover many sneaker and street culture related things, plus you can win some nice things as well and he would like to trade a pair of his Yeezys for an iPad.

Both of those guys also blog on SNEAKERIZED.com together with Oli & Sven from flaek by the way.

Let’s continue with our international suggestions:

  • YES! That’s the tumblr slogan by Myk31 from Ukraine. Here, he posts all kind of pics (sneakers, design, cars, shirts, basketball, ads, artists, brand logos, cool photographs, …), when he is not busy creating intros for the likes of itsbongoboy or Maestro.
  • SkavengerBrandon is a young guy from Cincinnati. Of course he is also into that sneaker/streetwear thing, but he often has amazing photographs and I try to get inspiration from them.
  • The Award Tour is a beautifully designed blog run by Phil, who gives some insight into the progress with his own brand along with his every day life.
  • a breath of fresh is for your daily dose of freshness and comes to you from Brendan, who is playing professional basketball in Germany’s 1st division, together with his brother and Rans, also a professional basketball player.
  • iD Life by Daichi Ito aka. “Limited Edition” he is known for his comedic and journalistic talent in the Nike webseries of Limited Edition TV and worked for Stüssy in LA aswell, he has his own blog. You should check it out, if you like streetwear.

This list is approved by @chrishimself84 and @IAMGANDINO!

Retro Gaming // Music Videos

I’m a big fan of retro gaming not because retro is “cool” nowadays its more because I grew up with it and I still find some of the stuff from the late 80s and 90s better than the stuff they put out today. Of course part of it is nostalgia but its also the skill gamemakers had back in those days with limited tools, was it the graphics or the music.

Please check Myk Dawgs aka. Myk31 webpage and videos out if you are into the oldschool 8bit era of videogame graphics. He makes graphics and music videos for different kinds of artists and I really like his style, its great to see people using the new tools to check out what you can do with some of the older technologies (like in chiptune music too).

One of his latest videos includes a collaboration between Mick Boogie and Peter, Björn and John called Stay This Way.

This video featuring the Kanye West track Robocop (808s & Heartbreak) has to be my favorite video as a big Mega Man (Rockman) fan.

Hope you enjoyed the videos and the music and please comment if you have some questions or suggestions :-).
