Da hat DJ Steph auf seiner Facebook-Seite neulich dieses Video von The Bullitts gepostet, dass ich – und ich muss zugeben, dass ich kein großer Musikvideo-Mensch bin – passenderweise zum Titel einfach nur super cool finde!!! Habt am Anfang etwas Geduld, denn wie ihr am Standbild des Videos vielleicht erkennen könnt, kommt da etwas auf euch zu.
Ich konnte leider nicht rausfinden, wie das Video zu Stande kam. Dass es Zufall & spontan war, ist wohl recht unwahrscheinlich, aber Rosario Dawson ist so oder so wirklich super cool! Ich hoffe, ihr habt auch euren Spaß gehabt…
Cro, Cro, Cro. Überall ist der aus dem Stuttgarter Raum stammende Rapper im Moment zu finden – mittlerweile bei Joko & Klaas und sogar auf Hypetrak!!! Vor allem durch sein Video ‘Easy’, das zwar schon durch alle Blogs ging, aber ich habe ja auch eine Verantwortung und muss sicher gehen, dass wirklich jeder dieses Schmuckstück sieht. Denn Sneakerb0b trifft mit seiner Aussage “Wenn ich ein Video drehen würde, würde es genauso aussehen” den Nagel exakt auf den Kopf!
Seit einer Woche gibt es auch noch das gleichnamige Mixtape, das ihr euch hier anhören könnt oder mittlerweile auch endlich wieder runterladen könnt, nachdem der Ansturm die Chimperator-Seite tagelang lahm gelegt hatte. Viel Spaß damit…
Ach, und für die meisten seiner Beats zeichnet er sich auch selbst verantwortlich, und da gibt es noch das Making Of ‘Easy’ in seinem Channel zu sehen.
Als ich heute Morgen wie üblich meine twitter-Timeline gecheckt habe, bin ich sofort auf dieses überdope Outfit von Theophilus London gestoßen, denn er schrieb dazu “Looks like I sell drugs In 82″ – @TheophilusL
Für mich das beste Outfit jemals, das mit den Space Jams zusammen gerockt wurde!!!!
Diese Mütze findet ihr auch passenderweise in seinem gerade erschienenen Video zu seiner Single ‘I Stand Alone’ – übrigens auch der Titelsong zur neuen ‘How To Make It In America’-Staffel – neben ein paar Cowboyhüten & Pelzmänteln wieder. Inspiriert ist es wohl von dem Film ‘True Stories’ aus dem Jahre 1986.

Wow. This was an amazing concert. Poeple were going crazy as the music made you vibe to it. Band was great. And Cody ChesnuTT is just a bad motherfucker!!! He was going all out. He also let Tobi, one guy from the audience, sing a song with him. He asked people to put out their cigarettes (big props from me for that!!!). And what’s up with the helmet?!?? LOL.
It was truly a great experience as I also met a lot of lovely people while I was also recovering from an exam that day. (Still got two more to go, so expect me to be around again in one week.)
He mainly performed his new stuff, because as he said he wanted to show the progress he made as a 42-year old man. And this is one of the songs that immediately made its way into my brain that night: ‘Do Better To The Young’.
Of course, it’s a whole nother level when performed live. Big ups to YOSOY & IMA!!!! Looking forward to IN SESSION VOL. 2.
Wow. Just saw this incredible good video for Macklemore‘s song ‘Wings’ over on sneakerb0b‘s blog. The story of the song captures so many aspects of sneakerism and lets you really think about it. A definite must-see!!

Some time ago, I read about Playboy’s plans to rank the Top 23 Air Jordans. Obviously, I was looking forward to it and the pics are, uhm, quite nice, but as a sneakerhead I would’ve liked the J’s on the Playmates’ feet or somewhere “in the picture”. The way they did it now, it could have also been someone at home behind his Photoshop putting a picture of an Air Jordan and a Playmate together. Or do you think they really used some big ass J’s in size 256 for this photo shoot?? Me don’t think so…
Only pic where it goes along pretty well in my opinion is that one for the Jordan VII, because the Playmate seems to have the laces in her hands.

I posted this under the slogan TRACK OF THE HOUR a few days ago on Facebook and twitter (@theballatician), but honestly this track has been the BANGER OF THE LAST FEW DAYS. I love that it’s just raps (and crazy ones by the way). I love the beat. I love the video, which is plain and simple, but I still enjoyed watching it more than… let’s say…. the last Kanye video. I’m real happy for you Kanye, but… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So, I hope that at least one of you guys will also enjoy it for these reasons.
