Few weeks back @chris_mako asked me if he should keep his collection of cassette tapes, yes some of you might have good memories of the cassette tape days.
I just so happened to stumble upon this really interesting and well made interview by the Rolling Stone with Nas about cassette tapes.
I highly recommend you guys watching it because it contains a whole era of culture.
As Nas mentions in this interview imagine you cant listen to one song for a whole month if you didnt record it off the radio, how crazy is that !

Wow, check that out. My man Sven is repping RUN FFM in the current JOURNAL FRANKFURT issue (dropped today) as well as he repped his (neighbour)hood Bonames as ‘Stadtteilbotschafter‘. It’s a project all over Frankfurt, so people can realize their own little projects for people in their respective district. He and his brother Martin (who is also rocking RUN FFM stuff by the way) were able to organize their own bball tournament that way to get teenagers interested in our sport.

I was also astonished to see this picture of our mayor Petra Roth as ‘DJane Petra‘ at the ‘Frankfurt legt auf‘ event last week. For that picture alone, she got my vote next time. :)

That’s tough, right? But don’t worry, you don’t have to do so anymore, because there is a German version of Sneaker Freaker about to highlight the German sneaker scene. The site went online yesterday and the first mag will be dropping in two weeks on Dec, 16th. To prepare everyone for the hustle that is necessary to be one of the first to get it they made this dope video. :)

After having seen the SOpreme shirt by SOTO at the In Heaven Part 2 party in Frankfurt, I had to get it, too. And after having read a comment on the availability under the pic on their Facebook page, I got on the phone, Phil-G answered and a few days later I had it. Thanks, guys!
To get the pun on the shirt: It was released as part of the Supreme Book launch at SOTO and came with every book back then.
And it was very OK to also include the first issue of the Highsnobiety Magazine. Thank you very much!
Unfortunately, I haven’t been to Berlin since SOTO opened, but I only heard good things about the store and I think we’ll be hearing a lot from them in the future, too. Check this post by trendzeta to get an insight. I’ll check it out the next time I’m in Berlin for sure:

We spent a day in Boston and Cambridge last week to visit Simon a friend of Andi (ballatician on runffm) who just graduated Harvard (congrats!) and to check out Boston a little bit. First stop was Karmaloop which I wrote about a little bit earlier, they got kicked out of their old location and moved to another place, we just stood in front of an emptied out closed store with no signs or notifications of the new location also the website didnt say anything about the new location so we went on.
We went on to Niketown and some other locations and also found the Johnny Cupcakes flagship store.
One reason I love japanese magazines is that they always come with free stuff for example the A Bathing Ape “lookbooks” always have some neat free stuff with them like a wall clock, yes a wall clock where in the world would you buy a magazine and get a free wall clock with it !?. Even better SMART magazine gives you two free pair of A Bathing Ape socks! SOCKS!?
