A new add to my collection are the Nike x HF Zoom Tennis Classic that were released around Fall/Winter of last year. The HF stands for Hiroshi Fujiwara one of the most influential designers on earth!.  I’m a fan of classic sneakers and you would be suprised how much detail goes into such a simple classic.  Check out the pictures below click them for a better view. I was lucky to find a pair in my size on pickyourshoes.com but prepare to pay a little premium to the list price because these are strictly limited and some places dont have them in stock anymore, at least not in various sizes. They come in 4 different colors (Plat/Red/Green/Royal).

To some people Hiroshi Fujiwara might not be a common name but you wont even imagine how influential he is to the world of fashion and streetwear. He is somewhat the icon or godfather of the Harajuku movement, if you are wearing something by Nike or Levis chances might be that they asked Hiroshi Fujiwara for advice.

Just as an example, most of todays T-Shirts have these little tags on their sleeves. Guess who did it first?

I have been following his website for a little while already it is called Honeycomb but the url is www.honeyee.com. You should go there and you will find blogs by other interesting people like KAWS or NIGO from A Bathing Ape, most of the content is in japanese though but some of the people like KAWS actually blog in english.

He is also a passionate musician here is a little video of him giving a little concert.
