DIRK KOMMT. Nach Frankfurt! Zum Snipes!!
Ihr seht es schon und habt es sicher schon gehört, aber man kann es nicht oft genug wiederholen: DIRK KOMMT. Der beste deutsche Basketballspieler, ein Weltklassesportler und vor allem ein großer Sportsmann gibt sich im Frankfurter Snipes-Laden (Schäfergasse 6-8) die Ehre.
Erwartet wird Dirk um 16:00 und das Programm sieht vor, dass Dirk in der Filiale seine Lieblingsstyles aus der aktuellen NIKE Sportswear Hyperfuse Collection vorstellt, sich auf der “Wall of Fame” verewigt und auch eine Pressekonferenz abhält. Vor dem Laden wird Nowitzki gemeinsam mit den Gewinnern des Meet & Greet-Gewinnspiels (Teilnahme nur noch heute möglich!!!) möglichst viele Treffer am einem Wurfautomaten für einen wohltätigen Zweck erzielen wollen und sicherlich auch einige Autogramme verteilen.
Oh, und amtierender NBA-Champion ist er ja halt auch noch. :)
Also Frankfurt, worauf warten?? Lasst uns ihm unsere Wertschätzung zeigen!

Engagierte Männer braucht das Land. Und unsere Stadt erst Recht!!!
So hat es sich Marc zur Aufgabe gemacht, ein Zeitraffer-Video über unsere Stadt zu erstellen, obwohl er weder Vorkenntnisse noch die komplette Ausrüstung dafür hatte. Er legte Mitte August einfach los und nach vielen stundenlangen Aufnahmen meist spät nachts oder früh morgens ist nun schon ein kleines erstes Video entstanden.

Für sein Projekt sucht er aber noch weiterhin nach außergewöhnlich tollen Blicken auf Frankfurt, denn er filmt noch fleißig weiter. BOMBER & bunnypop @ Museumsuferfest.
Allright, so here we go. Today, I got something spec…. Oh, wir bloggen ja jetzt auf deutsch ;-) Sorry, ich vergaß. Wird am Anfang doch wohl etwas ungewohnt sein, aber so könne mer aach wenigstens ma bissi hessisch babbeln!
Wo wir gerade beim Thema wären… Nicht nur in Hessen eine Graffiti-Legende, sondern auch darüber hinaus weit bekannt….??? Das ist BOMBER. Der Name ist Programm und zusammen mit unserem guten Kumpel Flo von bunnypop gibt es dieses Jahr auch wieder einen Stand auf dem Museumsuferfest, der eurer Fantasie freien Lauf lässt. So könnt ihr euch alles von ihm mit Airbrush verschönern lassen, und zusätzlich gibt es auch Shirts vor Ort, die er ebenfalls individuell gestaltet.
Letztes Jahr habe ich mir dort auch diese coole RUNFFM-Leinwand von ihm machen lassen. Eine einmalige Gelegenheit!!!
Ein echter Bombsky!!!!!!! Den Stand findet ihr auf der Sachsenhäuser Seite am Eisernen Steg direkt neben dem iGude/Bembel-Stand. Am besten ihr kommt so zwischen 11:00 und 23:00 vorbei, sonst ist der Stand nämlich geschlossen!

This morning the Frankfurt City Triathlon took place and our good friend DJ Lunis not only repped RUN FFM, DJ Steph & The Kidz Make Noizm but also achieved a good result with under 1h20min. Congrats!!!
You can also catch him DJing in clubs and bars. Just chec the dates on his site. Here’s also his latest mixtape called ‘Moombahstico’, that includes the latest Moombahton tracks. Don’t know this genre yet?? Just have a listen…

X-Ray Photowalk
Went out today to take some shots with my Yashica Electro 35 GT and met up with friends to go on a little photowalk. Took some random cellphone shots here and there.
I call that the “Kamera lifestabil ” haha, I have never tried Illy espresso had a double shot great aroma plus nice buzz – Illy +1 LOL.
Talking about Google+ anybody already got into that ? Do you like it? @theballatician and me already have our accounts registered but we are not really active on it yet.
Stumbled upon another cool thing , this is a gas pump from 1979/1980 look at the price for 1 litre of gasoline back in the days in Germany haha (91,1 PFENNIG!).
We spotted this cool scooter outside a store called B74 (Berliner Str. 74, FFM) drop by if you are into bikes and 60s / 70s era motorcycle esque fashion they got a great selection.
I remember this magazine from when I was in Tokyo never thought you’ll be able to get it around here but you can grab this at 2Four7 (Weissfrauenstr 2 – 8, FFM)
I also checked out the Carhartt x Powershovel collabo for the Blackbird Fly camera :)
If you want one they still got a few in stock at the Carhartt Store Frankfurt (Am Salzhaus 4, FFM) they are limited and go for 130€.
That price is quite a bargain compared to these bad boys that we checked out afterwards at the Leica gallery just a few meters down from the Carhartt shop.

18.06.2011: RUN FFM @ IN HEAVEN.
Oh yes! This Saturday is going to be off the hook. First we play the 069OPEN, then we’ll party to the fullest at IN HEAVEN Part 3, which is going down at the 25 Hours Hotel by Levi’s rooftop (there are also arrangements in case of bad weather, but let’s hope for good weather, so we can enjoy the nice open air vibe of last year’s party!).
Also don’t worry about the musical side of things as DJ Passion (BASS ILL EURO/YOSOY FAMILY – Stuttgart) and DJ Kofi (Tour DJ of The Gorillaz/DMC Champion – London) will take care of us!

HATERS MAKE ME LAUGH.
There’s also the ‘HATERS MAKE ME LAUGH‘ party going down this Friday at Sinkkasten Arts Club by the good guys from the Sorrow Crew, that were already going aaaaaaaallllllllll out at our RUNFFM.com BLOG PARTY two weeks ago.
They are a b-boying crew (by the way you should check out Joe explaining how to b-boy here), but don’t be scurrrrrred. It’s all about having a good time with cool people and good music. No b-boy skills necessary, but I’ll let them explain it all themselves in their funny interview during Funky Fresh on Radio X last week, where they been guests at the studio.
Here’s also the party trailer with footage of the last HMML party. Keep your eyes open for the RUN FFM shirt (It’s Joe, of course. Thx, man!)
