Exactly to this date one year ago, I was enjoying Kanye‘s Glow In The Dark Tour in Germany along with my best friend Ben, so it’s only right to present his book Glow In The Dark today. The photographs are by Nabil Elderkin and the interview was conducted by Spike Jonze. For a short insight, please watch the video.

How many of you are familiar with Ultraman (ウルトラマン) ?

Its a japanese science-fiction TV show that first aired in 1966, I just like how cheesy it looks and all those oldschool effects that were used to create a “futuristic feeling” for the viewer.

Amazon.com currently has a great deal on the complete series on DVD check it out here.
I think for that price it would be worth checking out, a few laughs are guaranteed :).

This recently released tiny book called  “The Otaku Encyclopedia” by Patrick W. Galbraith is probably the best english source for anyone trying to find out more about Otaku culture. Its small but has 248 pages full of japanese pop culture knowledge, so if you dont know what “Otaku” means you just go to the letter O and there you go “a nerd, geek or fanboy…”, its a must get for anyone who is interested in japanese pop culture!
