After I got the Air Jordan XI Space Jams back in December, I just had to get this sweatshirt by UNDRCRWN, which is inspired by the sneakers. So here’s what the astronaut looks like with the real shoes.
And the original design.
The Official Brand for CHAMPIONS.
UNDRCRWN has many nice basketball related items – plus other great stuff – and already a few years ago now, they did this collaboration with adidas on the Gil Zero. I love Gil and I love those shoes. Only after I wanted to send some information on them to Chrishimself recently, I found out that they are even limited to 750 pairs worldwide.
You feel like walking on the hardwood.
Apparently, this player card should be included with the shoes, but I guess mine was lost somewhere in between. Meaning, someone at the customs station stole it!
Please read this card carefully, because the last two sentences are as true as ever today. I am really pulling for Arenas to get back on the right track.
After seeing the Air Jordan XI Space Jams on the internets for so long now and even already about a week ago on the feet of a player of the opposing team, I am now holding my own pair in my hands. This is exactly the color way of this shoe that Michael Jordan wore in the movie Space Jam (please check out this incredibly old school website!!!).
I wasn’t really big on this release (just ask Chrishimself – by the way, I took his tweet for the headline), but this morning in the train, I came to the conclusion, that I had to take my chance on these, since I also was able to get them before the announced realease date of December, 23. And I can only encourage you to hurry up as I got the feeling, that my size (US12) is nearly out of stock in Germany alreadyyyy. I’m also really looking forward to the next release that will hopefully be the Silver Anniversary ones celebrating 25 years of Air Jordans.
Family.
That makes two pairs, so I need to find two suitable girls for a poster like this. Y’all know how to reach me.
Or maybe I’ll just buy it from OSNEAKER.COM (limited to 500 pieces).
Have been looking to get this Air Jordan DMP VII package since it came out but thought I would push them back awhile until they are on sale or until I can get the “Raptors” colorway only, for a reasonable price. Well today, more or less by accident, I found the Air Jordan DMP VII Pack on 50% sale and I just couldnt pass on that.
The Air Jordan VII DMP package comes in this huge box similar to all the other DMP packs.
A shot of the two colorways included in the Air Jordan DMP 7 package.
I especially like the “Raptors” colorway the shoes got the nickname when the Toronto Raptors joined the NBA in 95 and had a similar jersey colorway, the design on the sole looks very nice imho.
Probably selling the Orlando Magic inspired colorway, anyone looking for US11 ?
First of all, I’m sorry this post is heavily delayed. I had a very nice surprise visit, but here we go.
Not only does today mark the release day of KiD CuDi’s first album, it’s also the day Michael Jordan, Air, MJ, #23, The G.O.A.T. is enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame just in these moments.
Nike has put together a nice timeline, titled ‘History of Flight‘, for MJ’s career, also presenting his shoes throughout the years – from the Air Jordan I to the Air Jordan 2009.
Of course all his championships, the Olympics 1992, all the milestones are covered and you are able to watch 23 videos of special moments, while there is also some interesting information you might not know yet. A fact, that I obviously like very much, is that MJ had to play one game in a jersey with #12, because his jersey had been stolen (check the heart you see above). You also get to know about the inspiration behind some of the Air Jordan shoes. Surprisingly, I learned that the Air Jordan XI (11) was inspired by a lawnmover – OK, a well designed one after all, but still -, a shoe that moved on to be one of the hottest sneakers out there. I saw a pair on sale for 1,200 Dollars in Tokyo a few weeks ago. So, go ahead and do whatever you like with that information.
Congrats to MJ, even though it maybe considered a formality, and thanks to Flo for the heads up.
So, on Wednesday, we again walked around town to check some stores for the newest shirts, sneakers and so on, but also we’ve seen some classic sneakers like the Jordan XI going for 126,000 Yen (nearly 1,260 US-$ and 1,000 €) at Kicks Lab.
But let’s start from the beginning, when we went to KIKS TYO, so Chris could meet someone for his documentary. Please have a look at those Baby Jordans they had. I like!!!
I got the news, that the Air Jordan 60 + will be available today at Foot Locker. So I went on my way to the gym and found those three pairs, that were not there last week. They also have the Air Jordan 3 True Blue now, that Chrishimself and me got last week already via Snipes, and the Air Jordan Force 4.
I think by now everyone knows what the heat of the month is, its not only hot outside – no! – these pair of shoes on your feet are burning! The new retro release by Jordan Brand the Air Jordan 3 True Blue colorway is in my opinion one of the best Jordan colorways out there. The weird thing was that this release was not even planned for the US market, that means we in Europe for once have something that was released just for the international market haha ^^. My co-blogger Andi, a real big Jordan collector, got himself some extra to put on deadstock thats how much he likes them =) (And Jordan Brand/Nike will like him too lol ;-))
Check out more pictures after the read more link!.
Wow the Nike Air Jordan 5 Raging Bull was released earlier in Europe and its sold seperately and not as a pack, since I wasnt really that much into the red suede colorway I was happy to see that I can buy the 3M design off the nike online store and save some money.
