Like you have seen in my last post there is quite a big freeline skating scene going on in Frankfurt.
Just a few weeks back there has been the biggest freeline skating event in Frankfurt, Luc of German-Freeline-Scene.de did a really good job documenting what was going on in this video, please check it out.
Please also check out TEAM FFM’s facebook group where you can connect with everyone who is into freeline skating in Frankfurt am Main.
Also make sure to check out German-Freeline-Scene.de for the latest information on freeline skates.
cheers,

Good Day Peepz,
Another day in the world of RUNFFM and crew.
First we had to meet up with our screenprinter so we were able to clear up some details and we are already working on some new stuff.
Afterwards we were on the way to meet up with Rodney who is currently visiting from New York make sure to check out Juntos Worldwide its his online project about backpacking / travelling.
Explaining some of our future projects, discussing things etc.
I thought that was a really dope car, I am by no means a car enthusiast but I appreciate good design and since you dont see a classic Mercedes like that very often anymore I had to snap a picture of it.
Next stop, the guys from the freeline skate community in Frankfurt aka Team FFM. Make sure to look out for them I think they are the very first freeline skater team from Frankfurt.
Rodney also took some amazing interviews with them I will post the videos online once they are availible which may take a bit until Rodney finished editing them back in NY.
Even national TV station RTL got interested in freeline skating and they were having interviews with everyone involved, they asked us to give an interview since they wanted an outsiders opinion.
Brian of Team FFM helping Andi balance on the freeline skates.
Andi performing, this doesn’t look too easy. (Note by Andi: Nope, it isn’t. But a whole lot of fun! Thanks to Brian for his help!!)
Stefan of Team FFM showing his freeline skates, you can personalize them by spraypainting them or putting different color wheels on them to give them a little twist.
Shoutouts to TEAM FFM they did some amazing stuff on those freeline skates I am still amazed, they might have started a new trend this summer!
Check out their facebook page for more info on where they usually meet up.
What do you think?
Of course no day is complete with some….
BUBBLE TEA!!
Served by these lovely ladies =)
Thats it for today check me out on twitter @chrishimself84 also follow @theballatician and @JuntosWorldWide
I dont know if Team FFM has a website but if some of you guys are looking please drop me a comment or a message I will be sure to add your information! (edit: they got facebook)
Big shoutout to Flo aka Bunnypop who is our graphic design chief guy ;) He makes some cool artwork go check out his website.
Hey everyone today I went out to meet up with Rodney from New York City who is currently on a trip around Europe and came to Frankfurt am Main to visit.
We randomly met in Tokyo last year at the hostel and we checked out the big Gundam in Tokyo together.
We decided to hit up a few places in the city and I wanted to show him around a little bit and take some videos and pictures for his travel site called “Juntos Worldwide” , you should go and check it out it is a really cool website with interesting content especially if you are into backpacking.
We met up at this hostel in Frankfurt called the Five Elements Hostel (Moselstr. 40) its really close to the Mainstation (Frankfurt Hauptbhf) and easy to find aswell, first impression was decent and Rodney told me that the rooms look very clean and nice aswell. Maybe something to recommend if you are staying in Frankfurt!? Here are some pictures I took while I was waiting downstairs.
Today also another really cool shop just opened around the corner on Münchenerstraße 40, its called Cha-kka.
If you have been to any parts in Asia you might be familiar with this, they sell a drink called “Bubble Tea” , you might ask yourself whats that!?, well you should just go there and try it!! trust me its goooood! Its basically black milk tea or fresh green tea mixed with different flavours and you can choose from different Tapioka pearls as a topping which is some kind of “jelly-ish” stuff.
Also a big shoutout goes out to the owner of the shop for letting us get the free drink, we just didnt notice that they were giving out free cups to everyone in line!!
Really cool of them and I’ll definitely drop by everytime I am in the area to get me some Bubble Tea now, count on that I’m already addicted haha.
The place was packed too! People love Bubble Tea!
They are also sponsoring this next big party organized by Dynasty-Events which is going to be on a cruise ship on the Main river in Frankfurt. Find out more about that right here ->click<-.
Alright after getting our sugar levels up we had to go and grab some gooood Currywurst and by gooood I mean really hot hot spicy Currywurst at no other place than “Best Worscht in Town”.
Rodney did an interview with one of the guys working there for his website make sure to also follow him on his twitter account @JuntosWorldWide.
The video will be uploaded to his website as soon as he got the editing done so the best thing you can do is bookmark his website and check for twitter updates.
Look at the table, this is how it looks like if you are a real gadget-head HD camcorder, DSLR camera, smartphone and a really cool Lomography Diana F camera.
Always prepared to give you some really cool coverage from all over the world.
This kinda reminded me of Castlevania lol yeah I know (…).
Heres another really cool gadget that Rodney was carrying around at all times, its some kind of GPS-Tracker that helps you geotag your photos so you could have google maps etc. showing you the exact
position of where you have taken a picture and helps people to find pictures that were taken in Frankfurt for example. Pretty cool feature, have you tried this too!? I know some cameras have that feature build right in.
Well nothing is complete without a real Ebbelwoi, before we called it a day we hit up this place after walking around for about 5 hours.
Hope you guys still enjoy reading our blog I thought I’ll just drop in some of those photowalk posts from time to time, hit me up on twitter too.
Oh and before I forget big thanks to Rodney for this really awesome T-Shirt!!! Wu-Tang forever!
After having seen the SOpreme shirt by SOTO at the In Heaven Part 2 party in Frankfurt, I had to get it, too. And after having read a comment on the availability under the pic on their Facebook page, I got on the phone, Phil-G answered and a few days later I had it. Thanks, guys!
To get the pun on the shirt: It was released as part of the Supreme Book launch at SOTO and came with every book back then.
And it was very OK to also include the first issue of the Highsnobiety Magazine. Thank you very much!
Unfortunately, I haven’t been to Berlin since SOTO opened, but I only heard good things about the store and I think we’ll be hearing a lot from them in the future, too. Check this post by trendzeta to get an insight. I’ll check it out the next time I’m in Berlin for sure:
SOTO Store, Torstraße 72, Berlin, Germany – www.sotostore.com open Mon – Fri 12:00-20:00 & Sat 11:00-20:00
It’s been a long time since I posted an awesome skateboarding video, so I figured, I might as well post this real quick as I just stumbled upon it on @wuyuenyno’s twitter.
Just imagine being one of the passers-by…
So, everyone have a safe Sunday evening & a good start into the new week.
Market41 is the name of a pop up store located in our beautiful hometown of Frankfurt (I just had to squeeze that in right now) and is run by these two wonderful people you see on the pic above: Lea & Yves.
Not only are they cool, but the styles they carry in Market41 are, too! Above you see some 5Preview shits, below you can see different styles by Sixpack, Red Collar Project and Crooks & Castles.
Also ladies can get themselves some nice dresses…
… plus accessories, while men can grab a pair of comfortable Baqua shoes as well.
Some more stuff for the ladies.
And here are the new Sixpack styles they just got today. By the way, check back from time to time, because you’ll always find something new at Market41.
As I barely can withstand nice things, that have an A written on them, I recently got myself this Sixpack shirt called “Parallel Strokes” by artist PMKFA – plus some shorts for my summer vacation, but these will remain a secret until then.
Got me a new Ricoh GR Digital II recently and since I need to figure this camera out now I took it on a photowalk. I know that there is a GR Digital III out already but I didnt want to spend too much anyway and the GRD II is perfect for a on the go snappy camera, who wants to lug around the big DSLR all the time anyway?
Alright here are some pics, shoutout to Stefan who came along shooting with his Canon G11 that he bought in Tokyo when we were hanging out in Akihabara.
I was shooting mostly in black and white since I heard that this camera has cool b/w settings so I tried to play around with it a little but here is a color shot, one of the few so far.
This is a really cool bakery in Frankfurt, its a japanese bakery called Iimori and it has all the tasty things like Melonpan or Anpan yum yum yum. Very very ooiiiishii lol ah my good old baka gaijin nihongo.
There is also a Kaiten Sushi called Kamon (the ones that run on a conveyor belt) right next to it, actually it all belongs together so either you are up for a nice coffee and a snack or some good sake and sushi.
Andi (@theballatician) and me (@chrishimself84) went out to restock some shirts at Julies Barbershop and deliver some T-Shirts to our special customers ! You know where to get them go get em!
I’ve been taking pictures with my Rollei SUC’s (Single Use Camera) again over the last few weeks.
The camera uses black and white agfa film, the first time I picked this camera up was in Tokyo this April where I bought it just for fun at Yodobashi for about 1500yen and since then I really enjoy taking pictures with it. I was lucky to find another eBay auction where someone was selling a few of those that were leftover from a wedding, for a really good price compared to what they cost in Tokyo!.
Theres only a small number availible, strictly limited T-Shirts! Julies Babershop is located at Rahmhofstraße 2, 60313 Frankfurt am Main – 069 37304274
This is a chance for you to get your hands on this T-Shirt and on the same time you will support our blogger subculture and probably enable us to give you more content and maybe another T-Shirt too.
Price per T-Shirt is only 20 Euro , Sizes S-XXL availible in limited numbers, first come first serve!.

A really cool documentary that follows football, art and music of Japanese immigrants in Sao Paulo.
The most famous one and main focus in this documentary is Tulio Tanaka who played for Japan in the current Worldcup 2010.
Today is a good day Germany won the quarter-finals against Argentina with a stunning 4-0 on the scoreboard and this is Mike rockin the RUNFFM shirt in Frankfurt am Main.
