The new album by Clipse called Til The Casket Drops is out and has a really cool cover designed by none other than KAWS. Having already seen the Complex cover with the Clipse x KAWS design on it I could imagine that the album cover might have something designed by KAWS aswell. As a fan of both KAWS and Clipse this was an instant buy for me.
After seeing the Air Jordan XI Space Jams on the internets for so long now and even already about a week ago on the feet of a player of the opposing team, I am now holding my own pair in my hands. This is exactly the color way of this shoe that Michael Jordan wore in the movie Space Jam (please check out this incredibly old school website!!!).
I wasn’t really big on this release (just ask Chrishimself – by the way, I took his tweet for the headline), but this morning in the train, I came to the conclusion, that I had to take my chance on these, since I also was able to get them before the announced realease date of December, 23. And I can only encourage you to hurry up as I got the feeling, that my size (US12) is nearly out of stock in Germany alreadyyyy. I’m also really looking forward to the next release that will hopefully be the Silver Anniversary ones celebrating 25 years of Air Jordans.
Family.
That makes two pairs, so I need to find two suitable girls for a poster like this. Y’all know how to reach me.
Or maybe I’ll just buy it from OSNEAKER.COM (limited to 500 pieces).
Just found this video by accident and wondered where I recently heard the breakbeat.
A look into the comments made me realize oh yeah it was Dizzee Rascal haha.
Of course Hiroshi Fujiwara has to be in the japanese hip hop formation being one of the most influential people in trends and fashion to date without getting most of the credit, no wonder Japan is always a step ahead of everything.
Oh and just as a little sidenote the hat style HF is rockin in the first video I’ve just seen a few month ago on someone elses head again, Pharrell always got the japanoconnect haha ;).
On the 19th of December a new Bape store opened its doors in Singapore, located on Orchard Road you will be able to browse through the latest A Bathing Ape products in a nicely designed 2000 sq. ft. space.
Although I think (afaik) the store is not designed by Wonderwall / Masamichi Katayama it still represents the typical vibe of a BAPE store. Check out the pictures below and make sure to check it out if you are in Singapore.
After Pepsi bottles, Bearbricks and chairs the lifestyle brand A Bathing Ape sets its foot into the computer world designing a Fujitsu FMV netbook. Having the typical BAPE camoflage on it you’ll certainly stand out in the world of netbooks, scheduled for a release in 2010 the technical specs. are not yet known, sure is though that this item is going to be for the japanese market only and will have a japanese OS.
I had something in mind, when I posted that ‘ALLES AUSSER FRANKFURT IST SCHEISSE‘ shirt yesterday. (By the way, the only reasonable translation of that would be ‘FRANKFURT IS THE SHIT’, which is just the complete opposite, if you translate that literally!)
So after we learned, that Frankfurt/Mannheim based Crada produced KiD CuDi’s sond Hyyer for his debut album, we got some more news of that kind for you, because there is also a ‘Frankfurter Bub’ on Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3. Yap, who would have thought???
Every day a star is born, clap for ‘em, clap for ‘em, clap for ‘em: J.Cole it is (featured on the song A Star Is Born)!!! I was made aware of the fact that he was born in Frankfurt by this post on Dodger Hightop, where you can listen to the song that reportedly got him the first deal for an artist on Jay-Z’s new label RocNation. More evidence on JCole’s fan site and his Wikipedia. And for now we will ignore the fact, that he moved back to the USA at the age of 1.
The first person to introduce me to J.Cole was my best friend Ben, who sent me this trailer for his mixtape The Warm Up. Since it was so simple, but still symbolic for stages in your life, we could relate to it not only for basketball reasons.
For more go to his website as I will close this post with this dope video for his song Simba, also shot by BBGUN.
And I wonder, who is the next one that was born in Frankfurt, we may not have heard about yet???
Have been looking to get this Air Jordan DMP VII package since it came out but thought I would push them back awhile until they are on sale or until I can get the “Raptors” colorway only, for a reasonable price. Well today, more or less by accident, I found the Air Jordan DMP VII Pack on 50% sale and I just couldnt pass on that.
The Air Jordan VII DMP package comes in this huge box similar to all the other DMP packs.
A shot of the two colorways included in the Air Jordan DMP 7 package.
I especially like the “Raptors” colorway the shoes got the nickname when the Toronto Raptors joined the NBA in 95 and had a similar jersey colorway, the design on the sole looks very nice imho.
Probably selling the Orlando Magic inspired colorway, anyone looking for US11 ?
As a big fan of DJ Neil Armstrongs mixtapes I had to repost this little clip right here, they also show you the latest collaboration between Adidas and Ransom I dig the boot designs will probably take a closer look at their products too.
