Everybody loves summer, but yesterday really made me pulling for autumn – or fall for our American readers.
I just couldn’t resist to take some photos of that beautiful scenery of multicoloured leaves and the setting sun while I was on my way to my grandparents. These pictures were taken with my iPhone and I’m surprised, they turned out that good. I only edited them for size. Feel free to use them for whatever you like to use them for. Hope you’ll enjoy them…

Hey, today we went to a little event called Fashion City West in Frankfurt am Main.
It was a sunday we had nothing else to do and a little time on our hands, the event was free and so we thought we should drop by and give it a quick run.
The only interesting thing at this fair/trade show was probably the booth of Freebase Records/Sneakers and we got the chance to check out some of their newest Nike quickstrike releases including the Parra Air Maxim 1+ and the Cassette Playa Dunk High, shoutouts to Robert of Freebase Sneakers at this point.
Check out Giant Robot Magazine an asian popculture print magazine founded by Eric Nakamura and Martin Wong in 1994 with alot of great content on asian actors, designers, artists, musicians, filmmakers and more.
Its released every two months and you can also subscribe from germany!.
Here I have to say that Andi’s Passmo Card, an IC card that you charge up with money and can use to take the JR line without fiddling around with coins etc., was just not working at all.
Its way more convenient if it works and I’ve got to say that it usually works pretty well but in this case Andi’s (theballatician) card was showing weird errors for the second time and didnt let him charge it up, therefor was not accepted anymore.
Watch him being confused in Tokyo in this second installment of Confusion in Tokyo!
Last time in Tokyo I bought a few of the latest series (18th) Bearbrick’s by Medicom Toys and luckily got this little character.
Its the 100% Spongebob x Medicom Bearbrick
I think because of the popularity that Spongebob has in asia, Medicom Toys decided to release a 400% version (approx 28cm high) of the Spongebob x Medicom Bearbrick.
Would make a perfect decoration for any Spongebob fan.
Colette in Paris stocked a few of those but as always they’re sold out quick.
Another funny Elvis Bearbrick design just to compare the size between 100% and 400%.
Since Chrishimself turned this thing here in a video posting blog (just kidding of course, but you really should check out those last posts by him….), I also wanted to join the fun by posting this music video featuring a song by Japanese band SOUR from their mini album ‘Water Flavor EP‘, done in webcam-conference-style (if that wasn’t a word before, now it is!).
And in my opinion it’s done in amazingly creative fashion. Now is your chance to watch it finally.
Have been editing the whole night through and as always theres some extra footage leftover that doesnt fit into the concept, good for you guys because I’ll put most of them up on youtube thats the way I’ll recycle all that extra video :D. This is part 1 of an installment called Confusion in Tokyo haha enjoy !
Heres a little videoteaser of what I am currently editing, between all the interviews and other random stuff that I recorded in Tokyo (and theres alot to record) I thought I should edit this little “sight seeing” video of the shibuya station area in Tokyo.
I hope you enjoy it and you might give Tokyo a little visit if you havent been there before, I’m sure its worth it for everyone :-).
Alot of video content lately and so much good stuff to watch, heres the interview with Jeff Staple (Jeff Ng) of Stapledesign. Streetwear enthusiast know him everyone else get to know him in this interview, I think he did some good sneaker designs including the frenzy causing “Nike NYC Pigeon Dunk”.
