Freebase Records | Sneakers

Yesterday we went out to check out some local sneaker stores around Frankfurt / Main and heard about Freebase which actually caters to the electronic music world for almost 14 years, they started out as a record store and now decided to enter the shoe game.

Freebase

They still sell vinyl and cd’s but mainly of the electronic genre so if you are looking for a specialist store for electronic music go there,  I heard Sven Väth gets his records there aswell who is like a guru to the electronic scene with his Cocoon club in Frankfurt and Ibiza.

But now lets get to the sneakers, they have a nice collection of Air Max, Cortez and Blazers most of them are recent models like the Nike Nylon Dunks or the vintage suede Nike Blazers. They also had the most recent limited DJ Clark Kent Air Force 1 release so if you are still looking to get a pair of these you know where to go now!.

They only sell Nike Kicks so if you are looking for some NB’s, Adidas or whatever you wont find them there but I’m pretty sure they might get some interesting additions by Nike to their current stock.  Please Nike if you read this support our local shoedealers in Frankfurt and dont be too picky about who gets the exclusives (eerrrm Nike Air Yeezy).

A small selection of merch. T-Shirts and Nike Sportswear is also availible plus a few messenger/record bags and some DJ equipment as a DJ you should know that you CAN listen to the records in their store.

The Storefront

  1. Another nice store in Frankfurt / Main, which must be supported by sneaker and electro music fans. Maybe you meet Sven Väth and he gives you some entrance tickets to his Club. Muaahahaha
