Kaws is one of my favorite artists, he started out with streetart “defacing” billboards and advertisements at bus stops etc. with his now famous designs.
You might have spotted some of his work already without knowing it because he works with alot of artists from every kind of field like musicians, fashion designers etc.
He also did several covers for magazines and recently did the special edition LP cover for the latest Kanye West Album 808′s & Heartbreaks.
He has his own “fashion” brand called OriginalFake, make sure to check that out too.
I recently found this video up on Nike its a little feature on the movie called “Beautiful Losers” which is a compiled documentary work of a bunch of great artists, I havent seen it yet but I’ll get the DVD as soon as it comes out, hopefully very soon.
